Police Investigating School Bomb Threat In Armstrong County

COWANSHANNOCK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Pennsylvania State Police are looking into a written bomb threat at a high school in Armstrong County.

The threat was written inside of the boys' bathroom at West Shamokin High School in Cowanshannock Township.

It read: "The Bomb will blow up 9/16/15 at 9:20 Die." The message was written above a sink in the bathroom.

State police bomb detection dogs did a sweep of the school yesterday and found nothing.

School is in session today. State police are asking anyone who may know who is behind this threat to contact the PSP in Kittanning at 724-543-2011.
