Police Investigating Carjacking & Shooting In Beltzhoover
BELTZHOOVER (KDKA)- Police are looking into a carjacking where the driver ended up with a gunshot wound to his knee.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the 500-block of Sylvania Avenue in Beltzhoover.
Police say the victim was shot with his own gun in the knee cap. It's unclear if he shot himself or was shot by the carjacker. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police found several bundles of heroin on the victim, as well as a holster for the gun.
The victim's car was found a few blocks away from the scene. No suspect was found.
