Police Investigating After Multiple Reports Of Shots Fired On North Side
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a shooting victim showed up at a local hospital Saturday afternoon following a series of reports of shots fired in the city's North Side.
The first call came in around 11:11 a.m. from the intersection of Juniata and Manhattan Streets. Police say a tan sedan was seen in the area.
The second call to police came in a few minutes later at 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of N. Charles Street and Wilson Avenue. According to police, a white SUV was spotted during the incident.
A short time later, around 11:30 a.m., there were additional reports of shots being fired in the 3000-block of Shadeland Avenue.
Police say in that incident a tan Malibu was seen in the area with four African American males inside. Also, a white SUV was seen backing into a parked car.
The 28-year-old shooting victim then showed up at Allegheny General Hospital around 11:42 a.m. in a white Suburban.
He has not been identified. Police say he is in stable condition with gunshot wounds to the left arm and left foot.
Police say they have not yet determined if the shots fired incidents are connected.
