Man Dies After Being Shot 3 Times In Homewood

HOMEWOOD (KDKA)-Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Homewood early Tuesday morning.

Sha'quan Johnson, 20, was shot three times, once in the torso and twice in the leg. It happened around 1 a.m. along Inglenook Place in  Homewood.

The victim was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he underwent surgery and later died.

Pittsburgh Police were tipped off to the shooting due to Shot Spotter technology in the area.

"We do know that we've talked to several neighbors and we're trying to piece together exactly what happened," Pittsburgh Police Safety Spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.

However, detectives were unable to find a witness to the shooting.

"No one actually saw what happened," Toler said.

No one is in custody at this time.
