Police: 30 Heroin Bricks Found In Suspected Drug Dealer's Car During Traffic Stop
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police arrested a suspected drug dealer Wednesday during a routine traffic stop in Wilkins Township.
Police stopped 25-year-old Brandyn Elston on Route 22.
Elston was on parole for drug and weapons charges.
He's now back in jail now after police found 30 bricks of heroin in his car.
"This was a month-long investigation that they were doing on the subject that resulted in two controlled buys," said Officer Norman Locke, of North Versailles Police. "One of them was scheduled for today, in which the suspect was stopped prior to the buy and taken into custody on a traffic stop."
Police say the drugs had a street value of about $12,000.
