Polamalu Ready To Return To Field & Tackles Weather Forecasting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Troy Polamalu says he's ready to get back to football.

He was in the KDKA-TV studio Wednesday to tape this weekend's edition of "Steelers Late Night."

Polamalu has been out for two games with a sprained knee.

However, he told Bob Pompeani that he'll be back on the field in two weeks.

"I believe if the game was this weekend, I'd be able to play. But everything has gone well throughout the rehab process," Polamalu said.

He was also asked about his plans for after football.

"I can tell you honestly I no idea what I'm going to do. My kids are getting into sporting age now. I might be the soccer mom for my children, driving them everywhere. Maybe perhaps, that my wife who's done a tremendous job of raising our family, let her be able to live her dreams. She's always wanted to become a lawyer," Polamalu said.

If he changes his mind, he may have a future here at KDKA.

During the show, he tackled weather reporting and did a pretty good job.
