Pittsburgh Weather: Winter weather advisory issued for Laurel Highlands
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Laurel Highlands are under a winter weather advisory with several inches of snow in the forecast.
ALERT: Laurel Highlands under a winter weather advisory from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday for 2 to 5 inches of snow
AWARE: Another round of rain and snow Sunday night into Monday
Pittsburgh will stay as rain through the evening with even lighter showers and a break through the afternoon as temperatures will make it to the low 40s. There could be a flurry flying around Saturday but less than an inch is expected. The higher accumulations will be north and in the higher elevations from 3 to 5 inches.

It'll be very blustery Saturday morning for the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pittsburgh, making it feel in the 20s, so bundle up! Wind gusts will be near 30 mph overnight into early Saturday morning.
We do dry out through the day Saturday but highs will struggle to make it to 40 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.
The cooler weather and wintry weather aren't over just yet. Another round of rain and snow is expected on Sunday. Highs will make it to the low 40s with overnight lows in the mid-30s so it'll mostly be slush. These will last through Monday with highs back to the low 40s in the afternoon.
Tuesday we will dry out with some sunshine but it'll be breezy with highs only in the mid-30s.
Spring is 10 days away so we can hold on to that for now!
