Pittsburgh Weather: Gray start to summer forecasted for Wednesday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Summer begins just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it won't be the sunniest start to summer.
It has been sort of a gray day across the region, thanks to a disturbance swirling to our south. Eventually, that disturbance will send higher rain chances our way.
The next couple of days, however, that disturbance will bring more clouds than sunshine and very limited rain chances. Those rain chances will be focused mainly south of I-70.

Thursday, it looks like some much-needed rain will break free and send some scattered rain chances a little further north. Our highest rain chances come Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures will dip over the next couple of days, but rebound later this week. In fact, most of the forecast comes with temperatures at or just above average.
