After a wet and stormy evening yesterday, the weather will calm down today. Tuesday will be another mainly cloudy day, but we'll see gradual clearing by this evening with the winds calming down. Temperatures will hover in the 40s, with lows dropping to around freezing.

Wednesday will be a nice, sunny day with highs soaring back into the mid-60s for the afternoon! After the sun goes down, showers will start to build in, but they should be gone by morning. Thursday will be slightly cooler, in the 50s, but skies should be partly to mostly cloudy.

Friday's system is still looking tricky, but it is trending warmer, which would mean more of a rain event. The I-80 corridor and mountain areas still have a chance to see some freezing rain/wet snow in the morning hours, but everything will switch to all rain by the afternoon, which would melt anything that falls.

With temperatures sustained in the 40s for the afternoon, this would mean more of a rain event for Pittsburgh and surrounding regions. There could still be a light mix for Saturday, but skies will start to clear and dry out with highs in the mid-40s.
