Pittsburgh Weather: Early-morning rain tapers off, highs to reach 50s
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Our Tuesday will be mainly dreary and grey but not that chilly!
Alert: None.
Aware: Next round of rain Thursday, colder Friday.
Clouds, some fog, and even some isolated showers and drizzle stick around occasionally through this evening with highs hovering in the lower 50s by late afternoon.
We'll stay cloudy overnight and for the most part Wednesday as temperatures take a small step back into the mid-to-upper 40s. Another round of rain arrives late Wednesday night into Thursday and sticks around off and on through the day Thursday tapering to occasional showers.
Highs Thursday will soar into the mid to upper 50s before falling through the night and day Friday as the cold front changes leftover rain showers Friday into a rain/snow mix and snow showers north and into the Laurel Highlands and Ridges. Temperatures over the weekend will be more seasonable for January but still not below normal.
