The Pennsylvania Turnpike and PennDOT have planned vehicle restrictions for Sunday.
The rest of Saturday night will remain mainly dry except for a chance of a flurry in the Laurel Highlands and along I-80.
Sunday brings snow starting between 10 a.m. and noon and spreading south to north across our region through the afternoon.
The snow will wind down late Sunday night and be mostly done by 11 p.m. or midnight. Generally expect 2 to 5 inches of snow across our area with Pittsburgh seeing 3 to 4 inches and a bit more to the south, a bit less to the north.
Laurel Highlands higher elevations could see higher totals and lingering snow showers through Monday early morning. Once the snow ends, colder air moves in with an arctic blast to start the workweek.
