City Of Pittsburgh Extends Nightly Curfew For Another Night

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The City of Pittsburgh announced Monday that it is extending its curfew for another night.

The curfew goes into effect Monday night at 8:30 p.m. and will last until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Anyone that is downtown between those hours will be stopped by law enforcement.

The curfews first went into effect Saturday night after peaceful protests in remembrance of Minnesota man George Floyd turned violent, leading to chaos and looting.

Several law enforcement agencies, including SWAT teams and state police, were called in to try and clear downtown.
