Police Investigating After Discovering Body On North Side, Woman Taken In For Questioning

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after discovering a body on Pittsburgh's North Side on Tuesday morning.
A man's body was found along California Avenue outside, wrapped in plastic.
A woman in the basement of a nearby residence was taken in for questioning.
"When officers arrived to the door, they noticed an object wrapped in plastic near the front door. Officers looked and they discovered it was a deceased body. Officers then did a protective sweep inside the house where they found a woman hiding in the basement," Pittsburgh Police Assistant Public Information Officer Maurice Matthews said.
Police say that they located the body while searching for a missing person.
