Pitt Hoops To Start Year In Top 25 Rankings

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Another year, another preseason top 25 ranking for the Pitt men's basketball team as many would expect.

CBS Sports released their preseason top 25 rankings and the Panthers find themselves in the No. 25 spot.

CBS Sports had this to say about the 2014-2015 Panthers team:

"Another 25-plus wins is possible as long as the Panthers remain tough at home. That means Jamie Dixon should be in the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time in 12 years as a head coach -- although that preseason injury to Cam Wright wasn't ideal."

One Panther has earned an individual preseason honor as Power Forward Mike Young was named one of CBS Sports' top breakout performers.

The regular season gets underway for the Panthers on Friday, Nov. 14 and you can catch all the action on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN.
