Pitt Football Finds New Wide Receivers Coach

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Paul Chryst has been searching for a wide receivers coach since the departure of Bobby Engram to the Baltimore Ravens, and today he announced the new hire.

Former NFL receiver Greg Lewis, who played for both the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings has joined the staff.

Lewis played six seasons in Philadelphia and two in Minnesota.

He has spent the last two years coaching in the college ranks, most recently with San Jose State and the University of San Diego before that.

Chryst had this to say about his new receivers coach: "Greg really impressed us with his knowledge, energy and desire to teach the game. His background as a college and NFL receiver will serve our players and staff well. I know he is excited to get started and we're equally excited about him joining us in Pittsburgh."
