Pirates Set Pitching Rotation

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Though there's much speculation about Francisco Liriano's availability for Opening Day, the Pirates set their rotation for the first week of the season.

Starting with Opening Day, the rotation will go as follows: Francisco Liriano,  Charlie Morton, Wandy Rodriguez, Gerrit Cole, Francisco Liriano again - due to an off-day - and then Edinson Volquez will make his first start as a Pirate on Sunday, April 6 against the St. Louis Cardinals.

There has been no word on what will happen to the rotation though if Liriano is unable to take the ball for opening day given his groin injury.

Stay tuned to 93-7 The FAN for continuing coverage of the Pirates leading up to Opening Day.
