PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Tyler Glasnow, one of the Pirates most highly-touted prospects, is now one level away from the major leagues.

Glasnow is rated as the Pirates No. 1 prospect by Baseball America.
In addition, Keith Law of ESPN recently rated Glasnow the No. 9 overall prospect in baseball.
Through 63 innings pitched with the Altoona Curve this season, Glasnow accumulated a 2.43 ERA with 82 strikeouts, 19 walks and a .95 WHIP. He was shut down by Pirates farm system executives for much of the 2015 season due to an ankle injury, which he is now recovered from.
In his latest outing with the Curve, which is highlighted in the video below, the 6-foot-8, 225-pound California native struck out 12 and rendered five hits for two earned runs.
Glasnow is known to routinely touch 100 mph on the radar gun, a figure he maintains from start to finish in his outings.
