Here is a little "inside" info about one of our favorite Ausies:

Hayley in "The Originals"
Phoebe Tonkin plays the rebellious werewolf Hayley on The CW's new drama "The Originals."
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Tonkin is best known for her role in the enormously successful international Australian television series "H20: Just Add Water." In 2010, Tonkin made her feature film debut in the box office hit "Tomorrow When the War Began," based on the internationally best-selling book of the same name.
Tonkin was nominated in 2008 for an AFI Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama for her role in "H20: Just Add Water." In 2011, Variety named Tonkin one of their Ten New Faces of Fall.
In 2012, Tonkin landed the role of Hayley in The CW's hit show "The Vampire Diaries" and she will now bring the same character to the spin-off series, "The Originals."
Tonkin resides in Los Angeles when she is not filming the series in Atlanta.
