Pennsylvania State Police issue new scam alert related to gift cards
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- State police have issued a new scam alert.
State troopers say a woman who thought she was renting a home was scammed. They say she was told to pay with gift cards.
AARP says there are signs to watch out for.
They include examples when scammers tell someone to buy more than one gift card or to share the gift card number.
