One Person Injured In Early Morning Penn Hills Shooting

PENN HILLS (KDKA) - One person was injured during a shooting in Penn Hills.
The shooting happened at approximately 12:10 a.m. in the 4300-block of Verona Road. Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of The Lounge where they found a male inside his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officials later identified the victim as 48-year-old Paul McMillian of Verona. Police say McMillan was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his wounds.
The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit was dispatched to the scene to investigate. According to a statement from officials, the victim was involved in a physical altercation inside the lounge with another male. Police say that as the victim was leaving the parking lot in his vehicle, an unknown individual shot into the McMillian's vehicle striking him multiple times.
Police have not yet identified a suspect.
