Penguins Place Kunitz On IR, Recall Guentzel
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have placed Chris Kunitz on injured reserve.
According to the Penguins' website, Jake Guentzel has been called up to replace Kunitz.
Kunitz's injury has only been described as a lower-body injury. He is considered week-to-week at this point.

Guentzel, 22, has racked up 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 16 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL.
