Penguins' Fan Douses Alex Ovechkin With Beer
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Following the Alex Ovechkin slash on Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, one Penguin fan made sure the Washington Capitals star knew how he felt about the dirty play.
As Chris Peter of CBSSports.com writes, a fan took an opportunity to throw a perfectly good beer on Ovechkin and the link above shows video of Ovechkin cleaning himself off.
Apparently, Ovechkin wasn't the only one to get hit with the fans beer.
Ovechkin claimed after the game that the play many deemed dirty was actually just him trying to play the puck and not an attack on Letang.
Ovechkin scored a key goal, his 37th of the season, to the lead the Capitals to a 3-1 victory over the Pens.
