Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Forest Hills

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A pedestrian was left in critical condition after being hit by a car along Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Avenue B around 5:30 a.m.

Allegheny County Police say the pedestrian was taken to the hospital and that the driver involved in the crash remained on scene.

Homicide detectives and crash reconstruction specialists were called out to investigate.
