Tractor-Trailer With Uneven Load Shuts Down Parkway East
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Parkway East was shut down for over an hour while authorities tried to balance out a tractor-trailer with an uneven load.
The tractor-trailer was reportedly carrying metal coils, when the shipment shifted.
Around 2:30 p.m., officials said they expected the Parkway East to be closed for about an hour.
It has since been reopened.
PennDOT said parkway traffic from the Ft. Pitt Bridge was detoured onto Grant Street.
