Motorcyclist Killed After Striking Embankment In Armstrong County
PARKS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A motorcyclist died Friday evening after a crash in Armstrong County.
It happened around 8:15 p.m. at Dime Road and Gravel Bar Road in Parks Township.
According to the Armstrong County coroner's office, 21-year-old Alec D. Miller, of North Apollo, was traveling north on a 2018 Husqvarna motorcycle when he went off the road and struck an embankment.
Miller was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner's office says it's unclear if Miller was wearing a helmet.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the accident.
