Work Search Requirements For Unemployment Benefits Resume This Week

HARRISBURG (KDKA) - Beginning this week, people receiving unemployment benefits will need to provide proof they are looking for work.
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry had paused the requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since claims are filed the week after someone is unemployed, claimants will now have to certify they looked for a job beginning with the July 18 filings.
