One person killed, another injured in overnight shooting in Homewood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A man was killed and a woman was injured in an overnight shooting in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood.
Officers were called out to Frankstown Avenue just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday for a ShotSpotter alert for 11 rounds. Once they arrived at the scene, they found two gunshot victims.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by the Medical Examiner's Office as 34-year-old Glenn Davenport III. The second victim was a woman, who was taken to the hospital and was last listed in stable condition.
On June 7, police announced that Khatrell Haynes-Morgan was arrested by U.S. Marshalls and Pittsburgh police. He is charged with Davenport's death.
