One Person Arrested after Leading Police On Chase In Beaver Co.

BEAVER COUNTY (KDKA) -- One person is in custody after leading police on a car chase through Beaver County.
According to police, a Baden Police officer tried to pull Christerfer Freed over on Route 65 when he took off.
Freed was wanted on parole violations and outstanding warrants.
Police say they used spike strips along Toms Run Road to try and stop him.
They say he then exited his car near Emsworth and jumped into the Ohio River
The officer says the driver jumped out of the car and then jumped into the river.
Police used a boat to catch and arrest him.
He is now being held in the Beaver County Jail.
