Officials: Swastikas Spray-Painted In Pa. College Bathroom
SWARTHMORE, Pa. (AP) - Officials say two swastikas were painted on bathroom doors in the library of a private liberal arts college near Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Friday the president of Swarthmore College says two students found the symbols spray-painted in a bathroom stall in McCabe Library Tuesday night. The discovery was reported to public safety officials.
The design had been used in Nazi Germany and by other Nazi fascists as a party emblem and symbol of anti-Semitism.
The college says the symbols have been removed and its bias response team has been alerted.

Officials say those responsible face serious disciplinary consequences.
A co-editor with the student-run newspaper says there are plans for people to talk about the incident during an informal gathering.
Borough police say they weren't notified of the incident.
