NORTH VERSAILLES (KDKA) -- A 76-year-old woman was shaken up, but otherwise unhurt when her car ended up crashing down a hillside in North Versailles on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened along Overhill Drive, around 4:30 p.m.

Officials say she was backing out of her driveway when her Honda Civic careened down the steep incline, adjacent to her property, and came to a stop when it smacked into a tree.

The vehicle fell about 200 feet into a ravine.

Crews could be seen using a tow truck and a series of ropes to pull the car back up the hill.

The woman told KDKA-TV News she was going to a doctor's appointment when the accident occurred.
