Two Men Wounded In North Side Drive-By Shooting

BRIGHTON HEIGHTS (KDKA) -- Two men were wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in the North Side.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, two men were taken to Allegheny General Hospital after a drive-by shooting in front of Oliver Academy High School on the North Side. Police and emergency medical services responded around 3 p.m.

The two men have not been identified, but public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said they were alert and conscious when they were transported to the hospital. At least one of the two men was shot.

The Post-Gazette says police are looking for a red Cadillac, but no suspects have been named.

A football game was underway at the field behind the school when the shooting occurred, but the incident didn't disrupt the game.
