It's time to relax – and enjoy the warm weather.

But Memorial Day is more important than that.

It was created to remember the military men and women –

Who fought –

And died –

Protecting our country.

Our lives would be very different without their sacrifice –

Without the thousands of military graves here –

And around the world.

Freedom costs.

So – take some time this Memorial Day weekend –

To think about – and honor –

The men and women in uniform –

Who paid that price for us –

With their lives.

We owe them that much – and more.
