New Castle Business Owner Accused Of Pulling Gun On Sewer Workers
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A New Castle man was taken into custody today after police say he threatened some contractors working on a storm sewer project on his property in Lawrence County.
The incident happened just before 9 a.m. in the 2900-block of Wilmington Road.
Neshannock Township Police say 50-year-old Todd Abraham is facing several charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats.
According to police, Abraham allegedly became angry with the seven workers for digging on his property when he arrived at his business this morning.
Police say he's accused of pulling a pistol on the workers and told them to get off his property.
Authorities were called and Abraham was taken into custody.
The contracting company tells police their employees were working within the state highway right of way and they also have a signed agreement with the suspect to finish the work.
Abraham was arraigned and then released on $25,000 unsecured bond.
