One Person Dies In Motorcycle Accident On I-279

OHIO TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- According to State Police, 25-year-old Samuel Lopez died in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 279 Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred when the motorcycle was traveling in the left lane southbound when they veered onto the right shoulder, lost control and struck the embankment and was thrown from the bike.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma to the head.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
