Missing Sewickley Girl Found With 2 Men In Clarion Co.
SEWICKLEY (KDKA/AP) -- A missing 17-year-old girl from Sewickley was found safe late Wednesday night in Clarion County nearly 48 hours after she went missing.
According to Allegheny County Police, the teenager was found in a car with two men, one of them accused of having sex with her, during a traffic stop along Interstate 80.
The men, identified as 37-year-old James Molloy from Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, and 47-year-old George Garulle from New Jersey, were arrested and are now facing charges.
Police said the girl went missing after leaving her Sewickley Boro home around 10 p.m. on Monday. On Wednesday, Allegheny County Police say they received information that she was traveling in a car on I-80 in Clarion County.
Garulle had sent text and Facebook messages to the girl for several days before she was last seen at her home in Sewickley, Allegheny County police said in a criminal complaint.
The girl's parents woke up Tuesday to find her gone, leaving behind her cellphone and medications she requires for her mental health, the complaint said.
Police found messages between Garulle and the girl on her phone in which they spoke of getting married. Garulle sent the girl a picture of his car, a white Chrysler 300, in which he planned to pick her up and drive across the country.
Police called a New Jersey number they found on the girl's phone on Wednesday and Garulle answered, but claimed to be Garulle's father, police said. Garulle claimed to live in California, gave a false last name and said he didn't know where Garulle was. Police said he acknowledged that Garulle had met the girl on Facebook.

Authorities traced the girl's Facebook activity and found she had last accessed the social media site at a Clarks Summit address belonging to Molloy.
Police traced the GPS on Garulle's phone as traveling west on I-80 in Clarion County Wednesday night, and state troopers pulled the car over at a rest stop near mile marker 30 around 9:30 p.m. and found Garulle, Molloy and the girl.
The girl told police she had sex with Garulle. Molloy, who was driving, told police he knew the girl was only 17 and acknowledged giving her some Vicodin painkillers, police said.
Molloy told police they were headed to South Dakota.
Molloy and Garulle were both arraigned Thursday on charges of concealing the girl's whereabouts from her parents, conspiracy and corruption of minors. Garulle was also charged with interfering in the custody of a child and falsely identifying himself to police when they called his cellphone.
Garulle has active arrest warrants for violating his parole, weapons possession and assault. Molloy has a record including assault, endangering the welfare of children, stalking and escape, police said.
Both men remained in the Allegheny County Jail unable to post bond Thursday and face a preliminary hearing Jan. 26. Neither has an attorney listed in court records who could comment on their behalf.
