Missing Man From Lawrenceville Dies In Crash On I-79
FINDLEY TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- A 24-year-old man, who was missing from Lawrenceville, died in a crash along Interstate 79.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-79 in Findley Township, Mercer County sometime between Monday and Thursday.
Family members reported Larry Bennett missing on Sunday.
State police say Bennett failed to negotiate a left curve on I-79, left the road and struck several trees before coming to rest on its side. The wreckage was not discovered until Thursday.
The Mercer County deputy coroner says the death was the result of blunt force trauma.
State police are investigating.
