Woman Struck By Police Cruiser In McKeesport

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a police cruiser struck at woman who was crossing the street in McKeesport on Monday night.
It happened around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Lysle Boulevard and Sinclair Street.
According to McKeesport Police, the woman was crossing the street in the middle of the intersection when the patrol vehicle hit her.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and was last listed in stable condition.
At the scene, police were taking photos of clothing, shoes and other belongings in the street, as well as the front end of a police cruiser that appeared to be damaged.
The Allegheny County Police are assisting in the investigation.
