MCDONALD, Pa. (KDKA) -- A man from McDonald, Pa., is accused of sexually trafficking a teenage girl from New York.
According to the Observer-Reporter, the Glenn Falls Police Department in New York contacted McDonald Police about a missing 17-year-old girl on Friday. Police believed she was being trafficked for sex and when they tracked her cell phone, they found she was in McDonald.
McDonald Police found the girl staying with 25-year-old St. Patrick Earl Levy at his home on South McDonald Street. Levy was wanted on a bench warrant from Allegheny County.
When detectives interviewed the girl, she said Levy, who she met on Facebook, was her boyfriend and she ran away from her New York home to be with him.
The Observer-Reporter says Levy allegedly admitted to posting numerous sexually explicit photos of the girl online along with an advertisement "to solicit her for prostitution." He also allegedly admitted he knew she was under the age of 18 and lied about her age on the website, saying she was 19 years old. Levy allegedly used the money she received to pay his bills.
Levy is facing multiple charges, including trafficking in minors, corruption of minors and living off prostitutes.
