Masked, Armed Suspect Holds Up Bank In Bethel Park
BETHEL PARK (KDKA) – Police are searching for a masked gunman who held up a bank in Bethel Park on Thursday evening.
According to Bethel Park Police, the suspect walked into the Brentwood Bank in the South Park Shops on Library Road just after 5:30 p.m. and pulled out a black semi-automatic gun.
Bethel Park police say the suspect in this case acted alone.

Surveillance video from the Brentwood Bank in Bethel Park, shows the suspected robber inside the bank with a small gun. Video shows him motioning with the gun in his hand.
"The man was in possession of a small semi-automatic handgun, black in color," said Chief Timothy O'Connor of the Bethel Park Police Department.
There were customers in the bank at the time.
"There were several people in the bank at the time when this occurred and no one was injured," added Chief O'Connor.
Police say the suspect wore a dark colored hoodie, jeans and covered his face with a ski mask.
"He was given an undetermined amount of money and then fled the building," said Chief O'Connor. "He ran alongside the Baptist Road side of the building toward the back of the complex and then he disappeared."
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-feet-6-inches tall with a husky build.
