Man Who Taped Himself Sexually Abusing Children Sentenced To Decades In Prison
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An Aliquippa man charged with more than 200 counts of child rape, sexual assault and possessing child pornography has been sentenced to spend decades behind bars.
Michael John Bickel, 25, has been ordered to serve 59 to 118 years in prison after he sexually abused three boys and videotaped the abuse with his cell phone.
A total of 475 videos and photos were reportedly found in just one folder on his phone.
According to a release from the Office of Attorney General, Bickel also shared child pornography with a boy and committed various other crimes involving illegal contact with children. The victims Bickel sexually assaulted were between the ages of 7 and 12 when he abused them.

Officials have reportedly worked to identify all of Bickel's victims and to ensure they have the professional help they need.
According to a criminal complaint, he was originally investigated after Google reported an image depicting suspected child porn had been uploaded to an outgoing message by Bickel.
