Man Wanted For Cocaine Trafficking In Oklahoma Arrested In Oakland

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities arrested a man who was wanted for cocaine trafficking in Oklahoma at an Oakland bar Friday.

Authorities say 54-year-old Anthony Pearson, of Homewood, was wanted for failing to appear in court in Allegheny County and for trafficking cocaine and drug possession in Ottawa County, Okla.

According to the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, around 10:30 a.m. Monday, authorities received information that Pearson was in the Pittsburgh area. Around 10:15 p.m., Pearson was seen at an Oakland bar at the intersection of Centre and Morewood Avenues.

Members of the Sheriff's Office Fugitive Squad took Pearson into custody and transported him to the Allegheny County Jail.
