Man Trapped After Trench Collapses
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Emergency crews were on the scene of a trench collapse that trapped a man.
NewsChopper 2 was live over the scene on West Carson Street, in Esplen as it happened.
Crew were working in a ditch when it happened.
Officials say a man was injured, possibly with a broken leg, but is expected to be OK.
Firefighters arrived to the scene quickly and were able to pull him from the trench.
Crews had just laid cement, when a wall collapsed and caught his leg.
