NEW CASTLE (KDKA) – A man attempted to flee a traffic stop, crashed into another car, then had to be tased for resisting arrest in New Castle late Friday night.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers attempted to pull a driver over for DUI near Mitchell Road shortly before midnight Friday. Andrew Boots, 37, failed to stop and almost struck two police cars head-on.
