Man Taken To Hospital After Car Firebombed In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Firefighters say someone firebombed a man's car near the campus of Temple University, leaving him with burns over much of his body.

Authorities say the incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. Thursday. It's not immediately clear what prompted it.

Police joined the investigation after firefighters put out the blaze.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital. His name hasn't been released.
