Man Shot While Getting Into Vehicle In Homewood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 50-year-old man was shot Saturday while getting into his vehicle near the intersection of Race and Sterett streets in Homewood.
He walked into Fire Station 17 on Hamilton Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Investigators say the man was approached by a black man wearing a mask who demanded money. The suspect reportedly shot the victim and fled without taking anything.
The victim is expected to recover.
