Second person charged in connection to 2023 deadly shooting in Stowe Twp.

STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police have arrested a second person connected to a deadly shooting in Stowe Township.

Sixteen-year-old Cy-Miar Woods is facing a list of charges, including homicide, for the death of 26-year-old Michael Dean. Dean was shot and killed in his home on Benwood Avenue in November of 2023.

Allegheny County police said first responders found the 26-year-old shot in his home after dispatchers were called about a shooting on Benwood Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Dean was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

On Nov. 30, police arrested 43-year-old Arrmon Hagans in connection with the case. He faces a list of charges, including criminal homicide. 

Allegheny County police said surveillance video shows three men trying to force their way into Dean's home on Nov. 22. One of the men shot through the door before they all fled in a vehicle. Police said Hagans was one of the three men outside Dean's home and drove the vehicle.
