Man Shot Through the Door After Dispute in Sheraden
SHERADEN (KDKA)- A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the Sheraden neighborhood or Pittsburgh.
Just before 1:00 a.m. on Friday, Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says a couple was returning home to their house along Merwyn Avenue.
"The neighbors who were returning home asked if their neighbors could keep it down, because it was late at night. An argument started, followed by a fight and there were guns drawn and shots were fired."
Toler said the couple ran inside their home and locked the door. A short time later, one of the men who tried to assault the couple walked onto their porch, that's when the man inside the home fired a gunshot through the front door.
A man was hit by the bullet in his shoulder. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
It's unknown if charges will be filed in the case.
