Woman arrested after man shot, killed inside East Hills apartment
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A woman was arrested after a man was shot and killed in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood.
Police were called out to the 2100 block of Park Hill Drive late on Thursday night for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, police said they found a man who had been shot inside an apartment.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by the medical examiner's office as 29-year-old Damien Jackson from Homestead.
Police later arrested 25-year-old Toddia Smiley and charged her with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence.
