Man Shot In The Chest In Washington

WASHINGTON (KDKA) -- A man is in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest in Washington.

Police say it happened in the early hours of Saturday morning on South Wade Avenue.

A woman called 911 and explained that the victim, 22-year-old Deshawn Barfield, had been shot in the chest.

Crews arrived to find Barfield inside a vehicle. They rushed him to UPMC Presbyterian.

Officers have not released any suspect information.
