Man charged with homicide after deadly Penn Hills shooting
PENN HILLS (KDKA) — A man is facing charges after a deadly shooting in Penn Hills.
Allegheny County Police say a man was shot and killed along Crescent Pines Drive and was found just before 2 a.m. on June 14. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Shawn Brookins of Verona.
On Friday, police said 30-year-old Brandin Demonde Jackson was taken into custody in connection to the shooting. He is charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide and burglary.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
